MONTESSORI-INSPIRED LEARNING

At Al Fajr, we integrate Montessori-inspired materials and principles into our core British EYFS curriculum. This isn't a separate programme; it's woven into how we teach every day, giving children the structure and progression of EYFS alongside the hands-on, self-directed spirit of Montessori.

We believe children understand best when they discover things with their own hands. That's why practical, experience-based learning is at the core of how we teach: real experiments, sensory activities, and Montessori-inspired materials, woven into daily lessons so that knowledge isn't just given to a child, but genuinely explored and understood by them.

Ms. Nazia is a dedicated Early Childhood Educator and a valued member of the Al Fajr Early Childhood Centre team, bringing over 12 years of experience in Montessori and early years education. She holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), a Master of Arts (M.A.), a Master of Education (M.Ed.), and a Montessori Diploma. A Silver Medalist and recipient of multiple Best Teacher Awards, Ms. Nazia is passionate about inspiring young learners through meaningful, child-centred education. She is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey. She believes in nurturing children's holistic development by fostering confidence, independence, creativity, strong academic foundations, positive values, and essential life skills.
